Impressions & Usage

What counts, what your limit is, and what happens when you reach it.

What counts as an impression?

Each time Lucky You actually puts something in front of a visitor — a popup, a game or a bar. Pageviews do not count. Game starts do not count. Leads do not count. If nothing appeared on screen, nothing was charged.

What Counts as an Impression

How many impressions does each plan include?

500 on Free, 4,000 on Starter, 20,000 on Growth, 70,000 on Pro and 200,000 on Scale, per usage cycle.

Monthly Impression Limit

What happens when I run out of impressions?

Lucky You stops showing campaigns until the cycle resets or you add capacity — impression capacity is one of the three things that must be true for anything to appear at all, alongside a running campaign and an enabled theme app embed. The coupon reminder is the exception: it keeps working for shoppers who have already won, because that impression was already paid for.

Capacity Blocking

When do my impressions reset?

Usage resets roughly every 30 days on its own impression cycle. That cycle is a separate system from billing, which is why an annual plan still resets its impressions monthly.

Monthly Reset

Can I buy more impressions without changing plan?

Yes. One-time impression add-ons top up the current cycle without moving you to a different plan. Add-ons are available from the Starter plan. The alternative is auto-upgrade, which raises the plan itself — and which you still approve in Shopify.
